regarding the mountain which rises
shrouded in the mist and rain
like a veil
it only obscures and does not hide
and makes the sight
that much more alluring

i love the greyness
a shade which births
the greenness
awakening the Earth from dormancy
to begin another cycle of life
full and healthy
like a growing body
rich and abundant sustenance
to feed the organisms
crawling across the land
